THE PURPOSE

Hunt 라인업에서 오랜동안 판매되는 주요 품목인 SuperDura Dynamo Disc Wheelset은 현대적인 타이어들에 최적화를 위해 보다 넓은 림 프로화일로 업데이트되었으며 고강도 열처리된 6069-T6 alloy 소재에 22mm 내부림폭을 가진 비대칭 림형상으로 무게를 줄이면서 접지력과 타이어 형상을 유지하였다. 최신 Dynamo technology이 적용된 SONdelux wide-body hub는 장거리 라이딩에서도 신롸할 수 있는 지속적인 전기생산이 가능하다. 본 dynamo hub는 단순하면서도 오랜 시간이 지나서도 효과적인 전기생산이 가능한데 구리와이어의 작은 코일이 여러 자석묶음의 내부에 위치하여 회전하면서 전기를 생산한다. 지속적인 전기가 흐르는 상황에서는 라이트나 다른 기기들을 위한 전기가 모자라는 것은 걱정할 필요는 없어 배터리를 사용할 때와 달리 당신이 원할 때 라이딩을 마칠수 있도록 해준다.

• ASYMMERIC RIM PROFILE: 고강도 열처리된 6061-T6 alloy소재로 shot-peen 마감공법을 적용하여 탁우러한 피로 저항성과 전통적인 6061-T6 alloy보다 69%의 인장강도 상승을 가진다. 외부림폭 26mm, 내부림폭 22mm, 림높이 24.5mm를 가진 비대칭 림형상은 스포크 텐션 밸런스를 향상시킨다. Micro-peened black finish공법은 표면의 강도를 향상시킬 뿐아니라 레이저 엣징과 반사 데칼도 포함하여 야간에 시인성을 향상시켜준다.
• FOUR SEASON SYSTEM: 본 4 Season rear hub는 weatherproof seals과 모든 베이렁에 대해 full contact seals이 적용되어 겨울 라이딩의 내구성까지 가지고 있으며  32 spoke와 brass nipple적용으로 향상된 내구성, 부식 저항성 그리고 셀프윤활성을 가진다. 
• H_LOCK RIM BED: H_LOCK rim bed 형상을 적용하여 쉽고 확실한 타이어 장착이 가능하며 tubeless-ready disc-specific profile으로 클린처와 튜브리스 타이어 모두 장착이 가능하다. 
• SON DELUX 12MM DYNAMO FRONT HUB: 로드와 그래블 라이딩에 이상적인 보다 높은 평균속도에서 최소의 저항을 가진 높은 전력생산을 할 수 있도록 디자인된 SONdelux Dynamo를 적용하였다. 산악용으로 사용되는 SON28보다 80 gram 가볍고 보다 긴 사용에 최적화되어있다. 다른 모든 SON product과 마찬가지로 알로이  alloy dust shields, rubber lip seals 그리고 a pressure compensation system으로 오염물질에서 보호되며 허브 시스템에 수분유입을 줄여 베어링 수명을 연장시켜준다. SON DYNAMO

• SONDELUX | HIGHLY EFFICIENT, FASTER AND LOWER WEIGHT - 대부분의 다이나모 허브는 타운 바이크들을 위해 디자인되어있는 반면 드랍바 로드나 그래블 바이크경우 빠른 속도를 내는 자전거이다. 구형인 할로겐 벌브대비 LED 라이트의 상당히 향상된 효율성은 Exposure Revo 라이트와 같은 경우 불과 10mph 속도에서도 800 lumen의 놀라운 밝기를 실현한다. SON은 보다 작고 가벼운 발전기를 이용하여 20%정도의 드래그(drag)를 줄이면서 11~12mph 속도에서 3 watt / 6 volt output (800 lumens on the Revo light)를 얻을 수 있도록 하였다. 심지어 10mph 속도에서도 500 lumen 이상을 얻을 수 있다. 매우 빠른 속도에 적합한 SONdelux 다이나모는 20%의 향상된 구름성과 395gram의 낮아진 무게를 실현한 모델이다. • SON PRESSURE COMPENSATION SYSTEM - 모든 다이나모는 작동중에 열이 서서히 발생하다가 식게 된다. 대부분의 다이나모 허브경우 허브바디를 공기가 식혀주는데 이는 허브 내부의 공기압을 낮게 만드는데 이로 인해 베어링 실드를 통과하여 수분이 유입되어 허브 베어링의 수명을 급격하게 단축시킬 수 있다. 그러나 SON dynamo경우에는 액슬캡과 액슬내부에 에어플로우 구멍과 공기저장튜브로 구성된 독특한 Pressure Compensation System이 적용되어 있어 이러한 현상을 방지해준다. 
• SON DYNAMO PRESSURE COMPENSATION PORT - SON Pressure Compensation System은 허브 내외부의 공기압을 동일하게 유지시켜주어 외부 수분유입을 방지하여 베어링의 수명을 50,000-100,000 km까지 연장시켜준다. 공기저장튜브가 충분히 길어서 수분이 끝까지 도달하지 않고 다이나모 허브가 열을 받게 되면 공기압을 증가하여 공기와 수분이 튜브의 액슬 끝부분으로 방출되도록 만들어준다.

THE PURPOSE

A long-standing staple in the HUNT lineup, the SuperDura Dynamo Disc features an updated wider rim profile optimised for modern tyres. Built from high-strength, heat-treated 6069-T6 alloy, the asymmetric rim shape with 22mm internal width improves traction and tyre profile while keeping system weight down. The latest generation of Dynamo technology, the SONdelux wide-body hub offers reliable and consistent power generation for your longest and darkest rides. Effectively an electric motor in reverse, the dynamo hub is a simple yet effective solution to an age-old problem, utilizing a small coil of copper wire that spins inside a group of magnets to produce electricity. With continuous power onboard, you never have to worry about running out of power for your lights or other devices, allowing you to finish the ride when you want rather than when your batteries run out. This robust wheel system is hand-built with 32 triple butted spokes front and rear, with corrosion-resistant brass nipples throughout, to meet the needs of riders who train and commute through the dark months of winter, or cross continents in their adventure riding and require durability, reliability, and performance.

SON DELUX 12MM DYNAMO FRONT HUB: Light the way or power your devices with the SONdelux Dynamo, designed for high power output with minimal resistance at higher average speeds, ideal for road and gravel riding. 80 grams lighter than the SON28 used in our MTB/Adventure builds, the SONdelux has been optimized for prolonged use. As with all SON products, the hub is protected from the elements with alloy dust shields, rubber lip seals and a pressure compensation system, which prolongs bearing life by reducing water ingress into the hub system. Hub Shell: aluminium 6082 T6. Sealing: alloy dust shields, rubber lip seals and pressure compensation system. Supplied with: 2x Spade Connector with Shrink wrap cable protectors. Warranty: 5 years. Center-lock disc mount. 

FREEHUB BODY: Featuring HUNT’s H_Ratchet double-sided system (with two floating ratchet rings), with a 40-tooth ratchet ring resulting in quick 9-egree engagement. The freehub benefits from H_Ceramik anti-bite coating to ensure maximum durability. Durability is a theme for HUNT, and so all our freehub bodies have Steel Spline Insert re-enforcements to provide excellent durability against cassette sprocket damage often seen on standard alloy freehub bodies.

SON DYNAMO

• SONDELUX | HIGHLY EFFICIENT, FASTER AND LOWER WEIGHT - Drop-bar road and adventure bikes are designed for going fast, whereas many dynamo hubs were designed for town bikes. The rapid advancement and incredible efficiency of LED lighting compared to older halogen bulbs has meant that lights such as the Exposure Revo (available as a package with these wheels - please click here) would run at its whopping 800 lumen output at just 10mph. SON realised that by using a smaller/lighter generator, they could reduce drag by an impressive 20% and still achieve the 3 watt / 6 volt output (800 lumens on the Revo light) at just 11-12mph. Even at 10mph, you will get upwards of 500 lumens from the Exposure Revo light! The super-fast SONdelux is the result of this innovative thinking... 20% better rolling resistance and lower weight, only 395g (the SON28 weighs 430g).

• SON PRESSURE COMPENSATION SYSTEM - All dynamos heat slightly during operation and then cool, the cooling of air in the hub body of most dynamo hubs can cause lowering air pressure inside the hub. This lower air pressure can lead to suction of water through the bearing seals significantly reducing the life of hub bearings. However, SON dynamos feature their unique Pressure Compensation System which consists of an air flow port on the axle cap and inside the axle (as shown below) and an air reservoir tube.
• SON DYNAMO PRESSURE COMPENSATION PORT - The SON Pressure Compensation System allows air pressure to be equalised, thus extending bearing life to a huge 50,000-100,000 kms. The tube (shown below) is long enough that water doesn't reach the end, and when the dynamo heats up again air pressure increases and any air and water is forced back out of the axle end of the tube preventing damage.

Exposure Lights tried, tested and much loved dynamo powered light. Providing up to 800 lumens of power that is only limited by your endurance, it is the new must have for adventure riding, touring and commuting. Plus it's manufactured just down the road from us here in Sussex, UK. The Exposure Revo Dynamo light weighs a feathery 110g as it needs no battery, so as a package the light and hub weigh much the same as a normal hub and battery powered light, without that "oh, my lights run out of charge... I can't ride" nightmare.
