THE PURPOSE

Hunt Trail Wide MTB Wheelset은 어떠한 환경에도 갈 수 있는 휠셋으로 험한 내리막 코스에 최적화되어 있고 오르막 코스에서도 훌륭하게 치고 올라갈 수 있다. Trail Wide rim은 높은 내구성을 가지는데 6069-T6 series alloy 소재로 더 넓은 폭으로 디자인한 결과이다. 2.3"-2.5" tires에 최적화된 디자인으로 넓은 30mm  내부폭의 림은 급격한 코너링이나 강하게 지면에 충격을 받을 때 그리고 높은 속도로 급속하게 내리 달릴 때 지지력을 훌륭하게 제공한다. Hunt RapidEngage MTB hubs는 매우 빠른 체결 속도와 어떠한 가혹한 환경에서도 오랫동안 내구성을 지니는 hub pawls, 최신 사양인 148x12mm Rear Boost와 110x15mm Front Boost standard를 제공한다. 3도의 매우 낮은 허브 체결 각도는 바로 코너에서 빠져나올 수 있는 페달링 파워 전달력을 보이며 기술이 요하는 오르막 코스를 공략할 때도 어떠한 지체 현상도 보이지 않는다. 

FEATURES

RIMS: 6069-T6 (+69% 높은 장력 vs 6061-T6) alloy 소재에 광폭인 30mm 내부폭을 적용한 내구성이 탁월한 휠셋으로 가혹한 트레일 내리막 코스나 오르막 코스에 최적화된 경량 림이다. 

RIM PROFILE: 모든 Hunt 휠셋과 마찬가지로 튜브리스 시스템이 적용되었으며 독자적인 H-Lock rim bead 디자인은 타이어가 자리잡으면 rim bed에 확실히 체결되도록 하며 타이어의 좌우 움직임을 방지하여 타이어 이탈을 줄여준다. 튜브릿와 함께 튜브도 사용이 가능하다. 

FRONT HUB: 가장 공격적인 트레일 코스에서 충분한 성능을 발휘할 수 있도록 하기 위해서 내구성이 높은 베어링과 7075-T6 series alloy axles을 적용하여 견고성을 증가시켰다. 

REAR HUB: 휠에서 최대한의 성능을 얻고자 하는 라이더들을 위해 개발된 Trail Wide hubs는 견고성, 베어링 내구성, 전체적인 휠셋의 강도를 증가시켰다. 후륜의 경우 RapidEngage MTB hubs가 적용되어 매우 빠른 3도의 체결각도로 코너나 오르막에서도 지체없는 즉각적인 반응성을 가진다.

FREEHUB BODY: SRAM/Shimano 8/9/10/11 또는 SRAM XD 선택이 가능하며 각 freehub는 6개의 개별적인 Multi Pawls을 가져 가혹한 코스에서도 강한 체결성을 보장한다. 

NIPPLES: 최고급 라인인 triple butted Pillar Spokes이 적용되었으며 이 스포크는 J-Bend바로 앞의 헤드부분이 보강되었으며 매우 경량이면서도 증가하는 압력하에서 더 높은 탄성을 제공한다. 

WEIGHT: 최고 품질의 경량 Pillar triple butted spokes를 적용하여 더 많은 스포크를 사용하였음에도 무게 증가없이 더 강한 휠셋을 만들었다.

The Trail Wide rim includes details which are high on the durability factor to make sure you finish every ride with a big grin. The 6069-T6 series alloy rim sticks with the wider-is-better mantra. Designed around for 2.3"-2.5" tires, the wide 30mm (internal) rim provides support to the tire during hard cornering, landing in a root strewn shoot or when your throttling down a high-speed section and folding a tire is the last thing you need to happen! The Hunt RapidEngage MTB hubs have been specced based on our demands for an MTB wheelset. That is a superfast engagement, long lasting hub pawls no matter the conditions you're riding in and to be optimized to accommodate the latest 148x12mm Boost (Rear) and 110x15mm Boost (Front) standard. A super low engagement of 3 degrees means you will be able to put the power down straight out of the corners and not have any lag when jumping up those techy climbs

RIM PROFILE: Like all of our wheels, the Hunt MTB line-up is designed to be used as a tubeless system. Featuring a H-Lock rim bead with 'up-kicks' to the shoulders of the rim bed secures your tyre when seated. This prevents side-to-side movement reducing the chance of burping your tyre. It creates a great rim-well seal for first installation and easy sealing of tubeless tyres. Still haven't made the switch? All our wheels are tube compatible as well.

FRONT HUB: Suited to match the needs of the modern trail bike rider. Featuring durable bearings and 7075-T6 series alloy axles to increase stiffness. These hubs have been selected based on their ability to perform on the most aggressive trails.

REAR HUB: We create wheels to match the needs of riders who want the most from their wheels. The TrailWide hubs have been chosen to increase stiffness, bearing durability and overall strength of your wheelset. On the rear, the RapidEngage MTB hubs with a superfast 3 degree engagement, means you will be able to put the power down straight out of the corners.

FREEHUB BODY: Choose between SRAM/Shimano 8/9/10/11 or SRAM XD to be fitted to your TrailWide Wheels. Each freehub features six individual MultiPawls to ensure strong engagement, even in the grimmest conditions.

NIPPLES: We have chosen top of the line, triple butted Pillar Spokes with increased reinforcement at the spoke head. Not only are these spokes extremely lightweight, they are also able to provide a greater degree of elasticity when put under increased stress. The Pillar Spoke Reinforcement (PSR) puts more material at the spoke head, just before the J-Bend to prevent failure in this stress area.

WEIGHT: Mountain bikers aren't concerned about weight, right? Nope! Whether you're doing a back-country epic or pedalling between stages, we have paid attention to weight to suit the type of riding they will be subjected too. For example, using the highest quality Pillar triple butted spokes with PSR (Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement) has allowed us to not only create a stronger wheel with a higher spoke count, but one which does not add a weight penalty.

• Bearings I Precision sealed cartridge replaceable units. Large diameter ball bearings for extra durability. Dual full-contact rubber seals.

• Maximum tire pressure I 60psi when used with an inner tube and 50psi when running the wheel set-up tubeless. 
• Max Rider Weight I 120kgs is the upper recommended rider weight limit for these wheels. Please include the weight of any luggage in your total rider weight when choosing the correct wheels. If a rider is over 110Kgs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use tires at max 40psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset.
