CONCEPT - FAST OFF-ROAD RIDING

공기역학적인 fully internal cable routing과 매우 넓은 타이어 클리어런스를 가진 Grava frameset는 모든 노면에서 빠른 질주가 가능하도록 디자인되었습니다. Stainless steel tube set, octagonal steel top tube 그리고 3D printed head tube / UDH dropouts은 바위가 있는 트레일코스나 진흙길에서도 마음껏 달릴 수 있는 매우 강하고 내구성이 좋은 프레임세트입니다. 각 프레임의 지오메트리는 각 라이더에 맞추어 제작되며 핸들링도 각 라이더의 취향에 따라 조절됩니다. 스티어링은 all-road riding이나 gravel을 빠르게 질주하기 위해 빠르고 매우 민감하게 만들 수도 있으며 기술이 필요한 싱글트랙이나 긴 엔듀런스 그래블 라이딩을 위해 보다 편안한 안정적이게 만들 수도 있습니다. 물론 그 중간 수준으로도 가능합니다. Grava는 당신의 오프로드 라이딩을 위한 최적의 자전거입니다.

FRAME DETAILS

Columbus XCr stainless steel 그리고 Spirit  steel tubes를 silver braze 용접을 통해 제작되며 3D printed headtube과 헤드셋과 칵핏을 매끄럽게 통합해주는 ENVE IN-Route system을 기본 채용합니다. 후면에는 3D printed stainless steel dropouts과 SRAM UDH derailleur hanger를 가진 integrate flat mount disc brake mount가 적용됩니다. SRAM UDH 드레일러 행어는 Shimano와 Campagnolo뿐 아니라 Sram transmission derailleur들도 장착이 가능합니다.

PRICING AND DEPOSIT

프레임세트(frame, fork and headset)의 가격은 각 모델별로 표기되어 있으며 기본 프레임 가격은 단일 칼라 페인트 비용(single colour paint scheme)이 포함된 가격입니다. House Paint Scheme의 경우 추가 비용이 발생되며 full custom bespoke paint design의 경우 최종 디자인의 복잡성에 따라서 개별적으로 비용이 산정됩니다. 완성차의 비용은 개별적으로 선택된 부품의 종류에 따라 달라집니다. 

INFORMATION WE REQUIRE

모든 Saffron bikes는 각 라이더에게 맞춤형 지오메트리로 제작되기에 프레임 디자인을 위해 라이더로부터 정보가 필요합니다. 즉, 라이더 자신, 라이딩 이력, 향후 라이딩 목표와 제작하는 자전거로 라이딩하려는 계획에 대해 정보가 필요합니다. 이러한 정보는 핸들링 특성을 디자인하는데 도움을 주게 됩니다.  제공되는 fitment form을 완성하기 위해서 professional bike fitter를 방문하여 수치를 측정후 기록하여 제출해주세요. 가급적이면 bike fitter가 직접 측정값들을 작서애주도록 요청해주세요.  만약에 현재 타고 계시는 자전거가 완벽하게 맞고 편하시다면 그 자전거의 수치를 적어서 보내주셔도 됩니다. 

PAINT DESIGN

모든 바이크에 single colour options이 기본으로 적용됩니다. 추가적으로 제공되는 special edition House Scheme의 경우 Saffron online에 보여지는 이미지들과 같은 페인팅으로 추가비용이 발생합니다. 완전히 독특한 자신만의 페인팅을 원하실 경우 full custom paint design service를 이용하실 수 있으며 Saffron in-house designer와 상당을 통해 페인팅 디자인을 완성하게 되며 개별적으로 비용이 달라집니다.

Featuring aerodynamic fully internal cable routing and generous clearance for wide tyres, Grava is designed for speed on all surfaces. Its stainless steel tube set, octagonal steel top tube and 3D printed parts make for an extremely robust and durable frame for all you can throw at it, whether rocky trails or muddy bridleways. Open up new territory between your local lanes, leave the traffic behind and go explore. The geometry of each frame is tailored to the rider to give you not only a bike that fits you perfectly but one with handling adjusted to suit your preference. The steering can be made quick and responsive for fast all-road riding and gravel, more relaxed for stability on technical singletrack and long endurance gravel rides or balanced for the best of both. Grava is adaptable and is perfectly suited to your off-road riding.

Our mix of stainless steel and steel Columbus tubing is silver brazed and features a 3D printed headtube, utilising the ENVE IN-Route system which allows for seamless integration of the headset and cockpit. At the other end, the dropouts are also 3D printed stainless steel and integrate flat mount disc brake mounts with Sram UDH derailleur hanger for compatibility with Sram transmission derailleurs as well as Shimano and Campagnolo.

Once your frame geometry has been designed, a component consultation is available where we discuss which components would work best on your build. We can supply finishing kit components from a wide variety of manufacturers and will help you select parts to complement your build and ensure you’re in the best position. We also have a vast selection of handbuilt or off the shelf wheel options available.

PRICING AND DEPOSIT

Pricing for framesets (frame, fork and headset) is shown on the pages for each of the models. The base price includes your choice of single colour paint scheme. An upgrade to the House Scheme is available at an additional cost. The full custom bespoke paint design service is priced on an individual basis based on the complexity of the final design. Pricing for full builds is dependent on which of the wide range of components available are selected and so are also priced on a individual basis. An initial deposit is required to secure your slot in our build queue and this is equivalent to 40% of the base frame cost excluding components. This is non-refundable. For full builds, after a consultation to discuss components, you can approve the selection and then make a payment for the components. The final payment, due after your frame build is complete, will be for the remaining frame cost, any paint upgrade options and the delivery. See overview of the timeline above.

INFORMATION WE REQUIRE

Since all of our bikes have custom geometry to fit each rider, we will require some information from you to design your frame. We ask for a consultation with you to discuss some information about yourself, your riding history, any future riding goals you have and what type of riding you plan to use your bike for. This will help inform us of how to design your bike’s handling characteristics. We will provide you with a fitment form to complete. We recommend going to a professional bike fitter to ensure the measurements you provide to us will put you in an optimal riding position for your comfort and performance. It is recommended to ask your fitter to fill it in directly. There may be some measurements which differ slightly but not obviously from those which they would measure by default. If you feel completely comfortable on your current bike, you can carefully take the measurements yourself.

PAINT DESIGN

We have a selection of single colour options available for all bikes or choose our special edition House Scheme as featured on the bike in the images on this page. If you are looking for something completely unique, we also offer a full custom paint design service. This involves a consultation with our in-house designer who can take your inspiration and turn it into a one-off, full custom paint design.
