THE PURPOSE

가장 험난한 trail 코스를 정복하기 위해서 디자인된 Enduro Wide MTB Wheelset은 현대적인 엔듀로 라이딩의 요구를 넘어서는 수준의 rim을 디자인하고자 했다. 2년에 가까운 실제 라이딩 테스트를 통해서 얻어진 통찰들을 반영하였다.

FEATURES

RIMS: Enduro Wide rim은 어떠한 라이딩이라도 마무리할 수 있는 내구성 요소에서 매우 높은 수준의 세부 디자인 요소들을 내포하고 있다. 6069-T6 (+69% tensile strength vs 6061-T6) welded rim으로 더 넓은 것이 더 좋다는 기준에 따라 33.4mm 내부폭을 가지며 2.35"-2.6" tyres에 최적화되어 있다. Enduro Wide rim은 과격한 코너링이나 착지에서 타이어를 더욱 강하게 지지해주어 보다 안정적인 라이딩이 가능하다.

RIM PROFILE: Hunt의 다른 휠셋과 마찬가지로 Hunt MTB line-up은 tubeless system을 대응하며 H-Lock rim bead 적용으로 rim bed에 보다 확실한 타이어 장착이 가능하며 양측면 방향으로 타이어 움직임을 최소화하여 타이어 이탈을 막아준다. 처음 타이어 장착부터 확실한 결착이 가능하며 보다 쉬운 밀착 성능을 발휘한다. Hunt의 다른 휠셋과 마찬가지로 튜브 타이어 사용도 가능하다. 

FRONT HUB: HuNT XC Wide와 Trail Wide wheelset 보다 더 키운 oversized shell을 적용하였고 더 크고 내구성이 강한 bearing 그리고 7075-T6 series alloy axles 적용으로 강성을 증대하였다. 가장 공격적인 trail 코스에서 최상의 성능을 낼 수 있도록 선택한 hub이다. 

REAR HUB: 현재의 Enduro riding은 그 어느 때보다 더 격렬하고 험하다. Enduro Wide rear hub는 강성, 베어링 내구성, 전체적인 휠셋 강도를 증대하기 위해 디자인되었다. Hunt Rapid Engage MTB hub는 매우 빠른 3 degree 체결로 코너들을 탈출하자마자 즉각적으로 페달링이 가능하다. 

SPOKES: spoke head를 보강한 최고급 triple butted Pillar Spokes를 적용하여  매우 가벼울 뿐 아니라 강한 스트레스하에서 더 높은 탄성을 제공한다. Pillar Spoke Reinforcement (PSR)는 J-Bend 바로 앞의 spoke head를 보다 굵게 만들어 스트레스가 강한 이 지점이 파손되는 것을 방지한다. 

FREEHUB BODY: SRAM/Shimano 8/9/10/11 또는 SRAM XD에서 선택 가능하며 6개의 개별적인 Multi Pawl 적용으로 아주 험난한 상황에서도 강한 체결이 가능하다.

THE PURPOSE

This is our all out, hardest hitting wheelset for your Enduro rig. Designed to take a beating on the most unforgiving trails, the EnduroWide takes it all in its stride… Not satisfied with any of the options available, we went to the drawing board to design a rim which exceeds the demands of modern Enduro riding. Close to two years of real-world testing gained us insight into how these wheels will be used under riding, racing and car park jibbing. Whether you're riding tracks which have either one or two black diamonds marked at the trail head or Spend your weekends driving to the next mountain range for the Enduro series you're chasing, the EnduroWide has your back.

FEATURES

RIMS: The EnduroWide rim includes details which are high on the durability factor to make sure you finish every ride or stage. The 6069-T6 (+69% tensile strength vs 6061-T6) welded rim sticks with the wider-is-better mantra with an internal 33.4mm (internal) width. Optimized for 2.35"-2.6" tyres, the EnduroWide rim provides support to the tyre during hard cornering or hucking off that step-down you've been eying off for a few months!

RIM PROFILE: Like all of our wheels, the Hunt MTB line-up is designed to be used as a tubeless system. Featuring a H-Lock rim bead with 'up-kicks' to the shoulders of the rim bed secures your tyre when seated. This prevents side-to-side movement reducing the chance of burping your tyre. It creates a great rim-well seal for first installation and easy sealing of tubeless tyres. Still haven't made the switch? All our wheels are tube compatible as well.

FRONT HUB: We have gone all out on the front hub and beefed it up over our XCWide and TrailWide wheelsets. Featuring an oversized shell to accommodate larger and extremely durable bearings and 7075-T6 series alloy axles to increase stiffness. These hubs have been selected based on their ability to perform on the most aggressive trails.

REAR HUB: The demands of modern day Enduro riding are tougher than ever before. The EnduroWide hubs have been chosen to increase stiffness, bearing durability and overall strength of your wheelset. On the rear, the Hunt RapidEngage MTB hubs with a superfast 3 degree engagement, means you will be able to put the power down straight out of the corners.

SPOKES: We have chosen top of the line, triple butted Pillar Spokes with increased reinforcement at the spoke head. Not only are these spokes extremely lightweight, they are also able to provide a greater degree of elasticity when put under increased stress. The Pillar Spoke Reinforcement (PSR) puts more material at the spoke head, just before the J-Bend to prevent failure in this stress area.

FREEHUB BODY: Choose between SRAM/Shimano 8/9/10/11 or SRAM XD to be fitted to your EnduroWide Wheels. Each freehub features six individual MultiPawls to ensure strong engagement, even in the grimmest conditions.

• Rider Max Weight I 120kgs is the upper recommended rider weight limit for these wheels. Please include the weight of any luggage in your total rider weight when choosing the correct wheels. If a rider is over 110Kgs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use tires at max 40psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset.
